Ephraim Village Hall | Lindsey and Mike's Simply Perfect Door County Wedding

Mike and Lindsey are proof that weddings don’t have to be extravagant to be perfect. Their venue was the Ephraim Village Hall, and with some thoughtful planning it was transformed into an elegant space to celebrate their love.

They had a simple ceremony officiated by Lindsey’s sister, and after a dozen hugs and family pictures we headed outside for newlywed photographs. Before I say any more, I want to thank Mike’s friend Collin for helping to create shade, being our chauffeur, and making us laugh. Thanks dude :)

Kim from Pink Bakery catered dinner at 6 PM, and it was delicious as always. Seriously, give Kim a call whenever you’re hungry. You won’t regret it, and I can back that up because she catered my wedding as well.

Following dinner, we had an hour of free time before heading to Wilson’s for ice cream. We didn’t actually plan to have this much time after dinner, but I’ll never complain about having more time than we need :) One of Kim’s friends, Jane Nowak, supplied furniture staging and decoration, and she put together a nice corner that could be used for a mini photo-booth. I set up some lighting, and any of Lindsey and Mike’s guests who wanted a picture were able to walk away with an unexpected wedding favor. I love when weddings run ahead of schedule!!

At 8 PM, all 33 of us walked to Wilson’s for ice cream before watching the sunset together. Lindsey and Mike wanted a simple wedding, and it was simply perfect.
