VRBO and Cave Point County Park | Megan and Ryan's Wedding

I hung out with Megan and Ryan four times over their wedding week, and there are so many stories I’d love to share with you. How am I supposed to choose?

I could tell you about our two-day adventure where we rode bikes through Peninsula State Park, had a stone skipping contest, picked/ate some wood sorrel leaves near a parking lot, sat atop a bluff and talked for an hour, reenacted The Office scene where Jim proposes to Pam while on the Northern Sky Theater stage, got ice cream, had drinks, and went on sunset hike.

I could tell you about the letters Megan and Ryan wrote to each other (both filled with quotes from The Office), or I could tell you about how excited these childhood sweethearts were to turn around and see each other for the first time on their wedding day.

I could tell you about the funny finger thing that Megan does with her nearly identical twin sister (a gesture taught by one of their first teachers) and how they continue to do it today.

I could tell you about how Ryan forgot his ring in Egg Harbor, had to borrow someone else’s ring for the ceremony, and finally got to slip his own on at Cave Point.

I could tell you about how we tried to have Megan, Ryan, and their siblings get splashed by the waters of Lake Michigan, but I was the one who ended up the wettest.

I could tell you about how awesome Megan and Ryan are, and how I’d love if they moved to Door County so we could hangout.
