Sturgeon Bay's Crossroads at Big Creek | Madeline and Jack's Engagement Session

We were wrapping up Madeline and Jack’s engagement session, and I had one more idea.

“The sun is about to set, and I don’t see anyone else here. Do you two swear?” I asked.

Madeline and Jack smiled, looked at each other for reassurance, and then back at me with a “Yes!! We do!”

“OK,” I said looking around again to make sure the coast was clear. “I’m going to count to three, and you’re going to yell out your favorite swear word as loud as you can. I’ll do it with you too. Do you know your word?”

They continued to smile sheepishly and vigorously nodded their heads in confirmation.

“One, two……”

On “two,” their eyes nearly popped out of their skulls and Jack pointed behind me at a man walking the trails.

“Oops! We’ll whisper it!”

We counted again in hushed voices.

“One, two, three, $#!^@”

It turned out to be a very sweet photograph, and you can scroll to the bottom of the gallery to see the result :)
