Door County's Crossroads at Big Creek | Three Witches and Their Men

My most photographed location is Crossroads at Big Creek, and I love that each family I work with puts their own spin on the space. I have a favorite loop, and most morning sessions finish by the Heritage Village historical buildings. As we were walking by, Christy, Jessica, and Cindy had a great idea:

“Let’s pretend to be witches around the cauldron!”

“Alright,” I chuckled, “let’s do it!”

They gathered around the rustic pot with their husbands and sons snickering behind me. “If' we’re doing this, then we’re going to do it right,” I said. “What ingredients are going into our brew?”

Christy and Cindy looked at each other in thought, but Jessica blurted out, “AN EYE OF NEWT!” We all started laughing at her conviction, but she wasn’t done yet “AND A SLIMY TOAD!”

Once our laughing subsided, Jessica explained with a big grin, “Well, I’ve thought of this before!”
