Marti and Morry's 50th Wedding Anniversary | Ephraim, WI

I’ve been doing more work in Ephraim this year than I ever have before, and it’s really growing on me! One of my favorite things about Ephraim is that you can hang out downtown on the waterfront, and if you want to go to the woods then the Door County Land Trust at Anderson Pond is only a mile away. How cool is that?!?

Marti and Morry celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year, and they called me and scheduled a photography session for themselves and their family. One of my favorite moments from the morning was when the kids came up to me (they were very photogenic) and said “We want to jump!”

“Do you want to do some jumping jacks?” I asked, and they got big smiles on their faces and said “YES!"

They started doing jumping jacks and I snapped a few pictures. Then 10 seconds went by, 20 seconds, 30 seconds, and they kept going.

I looked at their parents. “I guess my question is how tired do you want them to be today?”

“Ha! Keep jumping, kids!” they laughed. Then, because the kids were told what to do, the jumping jacks stopped.

Enjoy the photographs!
